Harvest Festival

In the traditional society, baking millet biscuits is an important part of the festival. The Rukai people predicted the weather and the amount of rainfall based on the relative moistness or dryness of the baked biscuits. It is held in August every year to welcom the beginning of the next year's agricultural cycle.

The chief of the Darumark tribe who holded a firebrand and pray to God in right hand guided the beginning of the Harvest Festival.
